Planned Parenthood's racist agenda worldwide

Planned Parenthood would abort the developing world out of poverty

Some think of Planned Parenthood as America's abortionist, but the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is actually a global conglomerate based in London, England. Planned Parenthood kills more unborn children in the United States than any other abortionist, but its promotion of death on the world stage is even more devastating.

IPPF, in conjunction with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), is a very powerful force at work, especially in small developing countries with limited resources. For example, imagine a small developing country in sub-Saharan Africa in need of international aid to meet its people’s basic needs: food, water, clothing and shelter. IPPF and UNFPA tell such countries that to be eligible for aid they must change their laws to permit abortion.  Either way, they will be successful in reducing that country's population, which is their ultimate goal.

Two illegitimate arguments

IPPF is known for telling governments that in order to prosper and become part of the “developed” world, they must legalize abortion on demand as we have in the United States. Planned Parenthood argues that a country’s only route to prosperity is through control of population growth. Most of the time this argument goes hand-in-hand with another myth: If you do not legalize abortion, women will continue to die from illegal abortions in huge numbers. Neither argument has any merit; both have been debunked as fiction.

Some advocates — and Planned Parenthood itself — try to advance the idea that Planned Parenthood is a health care organization that helps women, yet its real focus is to advance a radical pro-abortion agenda.

In February 2009, IPPF advertised a job opening on its Web site for an “abortion coordinator,” who would develop ways to promote abortion globally. The person would be based in London, but would need to travel often … promoting abortion on demand! This new job opening at Planned Parenthood is even more proof of what the pro-life community has known for many years: Planned Parenthood is abortion.

Real help v. destruction

Developing countries around the world are desperate for improved agriculture, clean drinking water, sewage treatment plants and basic medical care. What IPPF and its allies bring to these nations is abortion, heartache and devastation.

International Planned Parenthood wants to hire an “abortion coordinator,” but what these poor nations truly need is basic medical care. Simple things like clean water, sanitary sewage plants, bandages, antibiotics and analgesics will go far to help those in need — not IPPF's deadly agenda of abortion on demand. Rather than ending poverty, IPPF is merely eliminating poor people.

International Planned Parenthood and its allies spend billions of dollars on advancing their abortion agenda. What if that money were spent on education, infrastructure, agriculture and real health care instead? Families in developing countries could live in communities where they would be able to get their basic needs met and could focus on economic development instead of just staying alive another day.

President Obama has appointed an abortion czar to assist Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in completing the globalization of abortion on demand, particularly in Africa and South America. He has also has issued an executive order that authorizes U.S. taxpayer funding of the International Planned Parenthood Federation. Urge Congress to end this injustice against the developing world.

Contact elected officials and tell them you do not want taxpayers to fund Planned Parenthood or its international counterpart, the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).
