CHOOSE LIFE DRIVE
Once again, MCCL is holding a Choose Life Drive to help women and babies in need. But we're redoubling our efforts after Minnesota lawmakers stripped crucial funding from pregnancy resource centers.
This year, the Choose Life Drive begins on Dec. 15, the anniversary of the horrific Doe v. Gomez Minnesota Supreme Court ruling that imposed taxpayer funding of abortion here in Minnesota. Women and children deserve so much better than government-bankrolled abortion.
The Drive will last until Jan. 22, the day of the MCCL March for Life. During that 38-day window of time, Minnesotans can contribute baby items that MCCL will distribute to pro-life pregnancy centers based on their specific needs. Those centers serve mothers and families in the Twin Cities area and across Minnesota, offering practical assistance, hope, and alternatives to abortion.
You can contribute! Donate baby clothing, blankets, diapers, wipes, formula, and other items that mothers and babies need most. The easiest way to contribute is to order pre-selected items from MCCL’s registry so that they can be shipped straight to our office. You can find the registry here.
If you live in the Twin Cities area, you may also stop by the MCCL state office in Minneapolis and leave supplies in our office entryway. (Plan to call beforehand.)
The Choose Life Drive comes at an important time: In the spring of 2023, lawmakers repealed Minnesota’s Positive Alternatives Act, which had provided funding to dozens of life-affirming programs supporting thousands and thousands of women. With that funding going way, many pregnancy resource centers are less able to meet the needs of pregnant women in Minnesota. Your help is very appreciated!
Thank you for your participation in this life-affirming program!
