- Delegate Information | Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life
INFORMATION FOR DELEGATES: TAKE BACK MINNESOTA GOVERNOR CANDIDATE SURVEY Note: Here are updated responses of the candidates for governor to MCCL's pro-life survey . Because of you , precinct caucuses on Feb. 3 were a success for pro-lifers in Minnesota. Many new people turned out for caucuses to give a renewed voice to unborn children. We thank you! Our work is not done, though. As you know, precinct caucuses are just the first step in taking our elections back for Life. There is more to do to ensure we have candidates on the November ballot who will win our state for unborn babies, pregnant moms, and others who need our support and protection. At precinct caucuses, thousands of you were elected delegates or alternates to your local endorsing conventions . If you were one of those elected as a delegate or alternate, you should soon receive from your political party a "convention call" telling you when and where your local endorsing convention will be held. Some of you may have received it at your precinct caucus already. Watch this page for further information about your local convention, but you will have two basic duties while you are there: Vote to endorse candidates to run for vitally important state Senate and state House seats. You will have a say in choosing pro-life candidates who have what it takes to win against pro-abortion candidates in November. Vote for delegates (including yourself!) to the state political party conventions held in the last week of May. We need you and other pro-lifers there to speak out for Life! Please let us know if you’ve been elected a delegate or alternate so we can connect you with other pro-life delegates. Communicating and working together will ensure that each convention—from the local endorsing conventions to the state and congressional district conventions—is as successful as possible for Life. To report that you’re a delegate, email mccl@mccl.org with your name, mailing address, email address, and textable phone number. Together, we will organize and win in 2026 for innocent human life!
- County Fair Training | MCCL
2026 MCCL FAIR BOOTHS: VOLUNTEER TRAINING Sign up for a training session: JUNE DATES JULY DATES AUGUST DATES For the second straight year, MCCL will hold online training sessions for our fair booth volunteers. The goal is to prepare volunteers to have productive yet comfortable conversations with fairgoers who don’t already agree with us—compassionate conversations that touch hearts and change minds. Only through dialogue, through reaching people one conversation at a time, can we create a truly pro-life culture that protects unborn babies and their moms! Many of you received this training last summer, and we consistently received great feedback from those we trained. “I was blown away by this training! It was very thought-provoking and informative, and the time flew by,” wrote one participant afterward. Others called the sessions “informative and practical,” “very useful and thoughtfully presented,” “excellent training and encouragement for success,” and “VERY well done! Yes, exactly what we need.” This year’s training will focus not just on key dialogue principles, pro-life responses to pro-abortion arguments, and how to explain Minnesota’s extreme policies, but also on the pivotal importance of the fall election. We encourage volunteers who participated last year to do so again, and we especially encourage volunteers who have not yet received this training to do so. Each free 75-minute session will be conducted remotely through Zoom (though you may also join by phone). You can register for a session in June , July , or August . Please choose a session that takes place shortly before your fair so that the material stays fresh in your mind.

- MCCL Overview | Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life
MCCL defends the equal dignity and right to life of every member of the human family. MINNESOTA CITIZENS CONCERNED FOR LIFE: who we are and what we do Founded by a small group of Minnesotans in 1968, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL) has worked ever since to secure protection for innocent human life from conception until natural death through effective education, legislation, and political action. MCCL contends that human rights belong to all human beings, regardless of their age, size, ability, health, or dependency. Everyone counts. That's why we work to defend unborn children from abortion and to support their mothers. It's why we oppose efforts to legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide, which endanger all of us and devalue the lives of the elderly, sick, and disabled. It's why we think even the youngest members of our species should be treated with respect rather than like disposable research material. Every member of the human family has equal human rights. Every innocent human being deserves protection from lethal violence. That's the pro-life view. As Minnesota's oldest and largest pro-life organization and the sole Minnesota affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee, MCCL has chapters and members all across the state. Together, we're changing hearts and minds, empowering pregnant women, enacting laws, and saving lives. OUR THREE-PART STRATEGY Education. MCCL informs, persuades, and motivates the public. We share the pro-life message through educational materials, events, presentations, digital outreach, booths and displays, and more. Legislation. MCCL is the leading pro-life voice at the state Capitol in St. Paul. We shape and advocate for pro-life legislation and oppose bills that undermine existing protections. We mobilize pro-life citizens in support of these efforts, and raise public awareness through the media and events like the MCCL March for Life. Despite limitations imposed by the courts and recent extreme actions by the legislature, MCCL has helped enact numerous measures that have reduced abortions and supported women. Political action. MCCL's non-partisan political action committees (PACs) support pro-life candidates for public office. The success of MCCL-backed candidates has helped produce abortion-reducing laws and policies in both Minnesota and Washington D.C. YOU CAN PROTECT LIFE Abortions in Minnesota dropped 48 percent between 1980 and 2019. Yet now they are sharply increasing as lawmakers have repealed most pro-life protections. Both unborn children and their mothers deserve so much better. If you support MCCL's mission of inclusion, please partner with us today. Here's how you can make a difference: Become an MCCL member by giving. Connect with us on social media and share our pro-life resources. Sign up to receive our email updates . Contact elected officials and urge them to protect life. Volunteer at an MCCL fair booth or other event, and join a local MCCL chapter.
